The Faces Behind
Blonde & Brindle
Hi! I'm Cortni, the blonde behind the designs, and that’s Bell, the brindle. My college sweetheart rescued her in his early college years. Neither one of us were looking to rescue a dog, it just happened and I'd love to tell you the whole story, if you ask!
Right after graduating from Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s in Advertising and Marketing, an Associate's in Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History, I married my college sweetheart. Naturally, I designed our wedding invitations. For the first five years of our marriage, my husband worked out of state and we saw each other every other weekend and holidays. Bell quickly became my sidekick and we were inseparable!
Fast forward to 2015: I was working full time as a lead photographer, for a school portrait photography company, but knew that, soon, we would want to start a family and ultimately I longed to be immersed in the world of design. With a deep love for typography, textures, color theory, and luxury print methods, the wedding stationery industry was a perfect fit.
Since the launch of Blonde & Brindle, I have had the honor of helping hundreds of couples create the perfect wedding invitations for their special day—each one completely unique.
After eight years in this industry, in an era dominated by digitalization and automation, my dedication to the artistry of paper and the personal touch it brings along with developing a genuine connection with my clients remains unwavering. I understand that pivotal life moments deserve a tangible expression of love and commitment that resonates on a heartfelt level.
